What I've Learned from Freelance Work

I have finally graduated from FlatIron School’s Full-Stack Software Engineering Course!

Using Emojis in HTML!

I have been searching for different images to use as an icon for my React/Redux project - a forum for bartenders to share their favorite cocktail recipes - and I was having trouble finding one that fit.

React Router - useHistory and useRouteMatch

I am reaching ever closer to the end of my final project, utilizing React and Redux. For this project, I am expanding on my Ruby on Rails project, an application for bartenders and cocktail enthusiasts to post and compare their cocktail recipes.

How I Learned (the Hard Way) to Avoid the Simplest Mistakes

I am approaching the end of the curriculum for the Self-Paced Online Web Development course. I am truly amazed at what I have been able to accomplish in the past six months. I have come from almost zero tech training/knowledge, to being qualified as a Full Stack Web Developer. (I do not think I will grow tired of saying that anytime soon!)

Learning Piano Chords with JavaScript

I am about to submit my fourth project for FlatIron’s Self Paced Web Development Course. It is surreal to think about how quickly I have progressed through the curriculum, and I am proud of myself for taking it on, and of the projects I have built thus far.
